Something is going on in my brain, something must have snapped! :wideeyed:

I NEED more livebearers!
Any ideas of where I could get some?

I'm actively searching the web for anything new and hard to find!

It might help if you narrowed the list down a bit....lol.

I may have something directly. I'm doing a test shipment into Canada via YVR for Goliad.

I do prefer wild types of the poecilia familly. Limias, Xiphophorus, Poecilia, Poeciliopsis, stuff like that.
Don't care much for the Goodeids :nah:

I don't know what he has in stock yet, but if there's anything good in the WT category, I'll post.

Hey Mel, I got this email from them the other day. Maybe a bunch of us can go in and split the shipping fees?? What do you think?? Barb and I have been looking for an excuse to come over to Van and meet you folks

Kristy,

We have been informed by Continental Airlines that we have all the permits, documents, etc. necessary to air freight fish into Canada. Is there an airport near you that is served by Continental? If so, maybe we could do a test shipment.

Thanks,

Charles Clapsaddle

Oh, Ross and Kat are set for a shipment. Now you just have to decide which livebearers you want, decisions, decisions .... lol

Hopefully, us over here on the Island can get some too. A ferry ride to Vancouver to pick them up but so worth it.

I think I'd rather do a test run alone first so I know what I'm pushing to stores if I decide to go that route. If it goes well you'll see his fish in local stores soon!

I have heard of Purple Dragons, seen pic's, but I don't have them. Pretty fish.

They're such little gems. I had them a long long time ago - got them from Doug White (DeltaGuppies.com). He was one of the first to distribute them in Canada. Member Candice has some nice ones too.

Blacklisted?
As in I feel blacklisted living on an island for acquiring fish. Crikey, we don't even have Continental flying to Victoria. lol:laugh:

Well... someone just put a stop to my livebearer madness!!!

I've had this thing planned for a while, taking up 7 tanks (3 x 3.5g and 4 x 5.5g), and it looks like it's going to pull through finally!
Imagine, I'm giving up 7 tanks for a Celestial Pearl Danio breeding project!!

Gotta find a way to sneak in a few more tanks for some livebearers!!

Melody

Sounds like a project worthy of a few tanks.
