Stealth shopping

A recent article on the CBC cites a study that found 1 in 5 individuals engaged in 'stealth shopping' to hide purchases that they had made. How many of you have done the same thing when it comes to aquarium gear/fish/plants/food etc? http://www.petfish.net/forum/Smileys/classic/grin.gif

In my case, I don't even try to hide my fishy shoppings! Gives me more trouble hiding stuff than telling it up front!!

I am always sneaking my new purchases in the house and quickly sticking them into my fish cupboard... where all my fish supplies is. Then I act like it was always there, and he does not know the difference of course! LOL!

Even mail order stuff, I open the boxes and ditch them before I get them home, and stuff the goodies in the cupboard... *giggle*.... he must wonder how it gets so stogged with stuff if I hardly ever buy anything new... I just say it is all multiplying on its own !! :twitcy: Or, I did not buy that... I traded some fish for it of course ! :yes:

Anyways... fish stuff is more important than anything else that needs buying ROFL !! :;):

Unfortunately, it just doesn't stop with fish stuff, fish stuff is just easier to hide unless it's a new tank setup. Golf clubs, athletic shoes...good thing the better half has the Costco card so I can't stealth buy on my own.

As long as you're not hiding something young and blonde... :laugh: In fact, that's probably why you people get away with it - they know there's worse things you could hide so they look the other way.
