Our newest order just arrived today. It was awsome!! He shipped yesterday at 4:00 Ont time and they arrived 10:30 am our time this morning. A lot faster than I expected!!

Albino long fin BN pleco babies.

I have 22 little pairs of eyes staring out at me from between the slate cracks...LOL they're soooo cute. Especially the teeny ones:yes: I have one question though. I am keeping some of them and one of the ones i'm keeping has standard fins but is fry from the same long fin parents. When I breed them, will I get less long fins than I would from breeding only the long fins???

Can't help you with the long finned question but they sure are cute. I'm sure Pam and Melody will be able to help you out. I think you may have to change your signature to Pleco Hoarder:rofl:

HHhnmmmmm I could swear that Barb's identical twin was here today taking home a bundle of them..... maybe that was her evil fish nabbing twin....:laugh:

I had to get extras to send off to that Pam lady to freshen up our bloodlines over here on this little island. *wink wink*

All I know is that the gene that carries the long fin trait is a ressive gene. However the little guy you have that is regular finned will still carry the longed finned gene so breeding it with a longed finned partner should produce long finned babies but not quite all will be... most likely a 50/50 mix I think.

Grats on your purchase there. They are adorable. I finally broke down and grabbed 3 of them regular finned variety myself and they have been going to town in myt one tank... now here is hoping I got some sexual diversity.
