On Monday, Oct 8th at 8pm AST (remember to convert this to your time :;):), Klaus Steinhaus will be joining the ECAS (http://www.eastcoastaquariumsociety.ca/forum/index.php) in the forum chat room. Klaus has been an avid aquarist for over 30 years and has a number of different interests which include both New and Old World Cichlids.
"To me, they are just amazing to watch and to study. They really do have a "Personality". I try to offer my cichlids an environment as close as possible to their natural habitat. It is the only way to see their true behavior and character. I can sit in front of my tanks for hours and try to figure out the social structure in each particular tank and the weekly water changes are definitely a labor of love. But there is nothing more fun in this hobby then to sit with other cichlid "freaks", have a few beers and talk cichlids until the small hours of the morning"
Klaus is a member of the Durham Region Aquarium Society, the American Cichlid Association and can be found on many aquarium forums throughout Canada and the US. His website is available at http://www.buntbarsch.ca
Everyone is welcome to join us for this chat event and to chat with Klaus or simply sit in and learn something new. However, you must be registered on the forum to participate in the chats.
Hope to see you all there !!:yes:
