The Good
Only 4 of my toes are broken rather then my whole foot and the stiches were much less painful then sitting in the ER for 5 hours. And there were no fish in the tank I dropped.
The Bad News
One of my ten gallons is completely shattered, even though my foot broke its fall.
The Ugly
My foot is blown up like a ballon :(
Moral of the story, lifting a filled 10 gallon with wet hands=the stupid
Meh....I am not very impressed with myself today. :nah:

If today wasn't everyone needs a water change day then yes...lol The mollies are so funny with water changes they had a change a week from today and I swear they are swimming around with little signs that say 'The End Is Near!' so I guess I'll be changing them first.
Hubby is prepping to throw himself out of a plane about now I'm thinking so newp no special treatment here. Ponders going to Barb's house....Hmmm special treatment and all those beautiful fish! How are those pretty goldo's doing? And thanks for thinking of me Barb.

Well, if he is throwing himself out of a plane, his adrenaline will be really high when he gets home and he'll do all your water changes in alllllll your tanks. Loved your mention about the mollies carrying around little signs, it's so appropriate for that strain, isn't it? LOL:laugh:

That would require patience. I have patience for 2 types of people: children & the elderly. I'm neither one of those, just an impatient dork who thought she'd get stuff done.
I replaced the 10 gallon with another, I was looking at another 30 gallon but I'll need to trade in a bunch more snails before I see one of those I'm thinking.

Awww thanks Jay, yep I have a cast. The doctor thought he was amusing and asked me if I wanted a hot pink one, I gave him the Sean Connery eyebrow and that was enough of that. :twitcy: I knew I should have done water changes yesterday! lol Sorry for the whining Mr. Trooper must have a sixth sense as he breezed out the door this morning and won't be back for a few days. They are downstairs, and after going down and up the stairs with this goofy cast I'm done for the night. The platy girl you sent me is enormous, poor thing looks mighty uncomfy, I put her in a drop tank alone to give her some relief.. Hmmm now I'm wondering about the stuarti, I need a fire pole! That is why I never got hooked on Pleco's - never see most of them. They can be very striking, but I refuse to buy a fish that I'll never see and makes me clean more.
Albinos have poor vision, especially babies. They probably couldn't find a cave if they wanted to...lol...but besides that, the albino babies I've had are attracted to the light. That combined with poor vision results in them getting eaten quite often.:wideeyed: I find that the BN's are out more than most Pleco's anyway. They still prefer the night, but I see them out and about when I feed them.

I call them my nonexsistant pets. After doing tank changes and spending a lot of time in the basement last night they seem a little less timid. Glad to hear you're trading your cast for a plastic boot cast... but just because it's 'removable' don't take any chances. Bones take time to heal and rushing things can just result in complications or it taking longer to heal. OK,OK,OK... lecture over   ... but sheeeesh, what do you expect when you plan on climbing ladders, etc.?!:Worried:
