Unfertilized eggs will fungus in the water and spread to fertilized eggs, therefore they should be removed. Adding a drop of Methylene blue can help prevent the spread of fungus. One the fry hatch they can be fed baby brine shrimp & microworms.

Notes: There are two strains of Fundulopanchax Sjoestedti, Dwarf Red Gularis and Blue Gularis, they are one of the largest and most colourful killies. This fish is very interactive and really enjoyable to watch in the aquarium. Although the red dwarf is mainly a peaceful fish it is territorial is not a compatible tankmate for bettas. Pairing these two fish in the same tank will lead to the death of the betta.
