I told you it was big... :;):

We're totally pumped about it! This puppy will be heavily marketed behind the scenes, and of course, the more people YOU tell, the more successful it will be. We've been working hard on it and its ready to roll. Thanks to our mod's for helping us test it out!

The most important thing is to get things listed and keep listing them. We already have hundreds of members who will see your listing. We realize that it takes more than that to get the big bux for auctions and that will happen, but if we don't post in the early days it just won't take off, or it will take off slower anyway.

Study up on shipping by reading these articles (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/showthread.php?t=514).

Run your auction, post it where its permitted in other forums, stick it in your sig file, tell your friends and together, we will create a hub for hobbyists across the country to find each other... and each other's fish! ::D: Can't wait to see you there!

Are we there yet? I am SO PUMPED! I will be spending this evening taking pictures of what little I have for auction. Its important that we get this off to a great start! I can see us back here in a year wondering how we ever did without it. Finally, no more drooling over other auctions, wishing the breeders could ship to the States.

Speaking of which, we will welcome all breeders who ship internationally too, so if you know of anyone who could benefit, by all means invite them.

This came up in PM so I thought I'd mention it here. Businesses are welcome to post auctions (within the auction rules and guidelines), absolutely free! It has to be a specific item of course, but that shouldn't be a prob. Dry goods, wet pets, all is great! You will also have the option to make it a 'Buy It' auction.

Remember too that you can have a reserve price, so the fact that there aren't as many bidders at first need not mean that you have to accept less money for the item. Just relist it if the reserve isn't met.
