All feedback from the auction site is to be posted on the auction site.

Feedback from the remaining classifieds (Swap Meet & Misc. Classifieds) is still to be done through our existing iTrader feedback.

The Freshwater Livestock and Plants (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=16), Marine Livestock (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=17), Aquarium Equipment (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18) sections will remain open for viewing but will be closed for posting. That is to ensure that an ad recently placed there will still be available for viewing (and sales won't be lost).

We'll have the auction link up for you this evening. However, it won't work until just after midnight PDT. (I know, you folks in Eastern Canada have to wait a little longer than us on the West Coast... what can I say? I'm here... you're there. :;): )

Some more details for you.

Pop in and check it out the Auction site even if you don't have anything to sell at the moment or no funds to buy. You will however, need to register as a member on the Auction site to be able to Buy or Sell anything. I suggest you use the same username that you use here (make life easier on yourselves (no identity crisis :;): ). A few of you might have to make a slight change to your username as the Auction site only allows Letters and Numbers (no spaces or special characters).

 It will also be good to use your forum username if you already have feedback here. Then you can link to existing feedback in your auction to reassure buyers/sellers.

Important Info

As an Auction member, if you wish to keep your email address private and just use PM's, then you need to change the settings in your Auction member account. To do so (after you register and log in):

Under 'My Account', click on Message Settings.
You will see the two options below (with Public Communication selected):

Public Communication
Expose my email address to users and communicate through email. I will also be able to view and respond through the messaging system provided if desired.

Private Communication
Do not expose my email address to other users of this site. If you select this setting, you will receive messages in two ways...via email and via this messaging system. You can then choose which method to reply with. If you would like to keep your email address private, simply use this messaging to reply to your buyer's inquiry.

Click the Private Communication option and then the 'Save Configuration' button.

FYI: On the auction site, closing your Browser window does not log you off. You need to actually log off.
