What do I feed the baby kribs if they actually do hatch? Would baby julies (less than an inch long) be a threat to them? Would a SAE or small zebra loach eat them? Should I cover the filter intake with a sponge?

- Anything that fits in their mouth
- Doubt it
- Probably
- Absolutely!!
Don't worry so much
Kribs are like rats once they start laying eggs, they just don't stop!
Let them go for their first try, see who eats who, how good the parents take care of their young the first try.
If you stress the fish too much, the parents will eat the eggs!!
Usually, the parents take very good care of their young, and they will find plenty of microscopic foods in the tank.
Hope it helps!

When I was raising them, I add a squirt or two of live baby brine shrimp a couple of times a day. Even the adults will eat them.
