I have a couple of pairs or so of Liberty Mollies for sale. Technically P. Sphenops "Liberty Molly". I don't think they're P. Salvatoris, the other Molly with similar coloring, but they might be. These came from my friend, Bill Allen, mag author & American Livebearer Association Editor.

They're young adults, not fully colored up yet, but you can see examples of adults if you Google Images 'Liberty Molly'. The fins will all be orangish red with black spots, maybe white flecks (depends on the population it seems). The body should go largely bluish, with mauve/green/gold. More pic's here:

They should get to around 3", community fish, tough as nails. I keep mine at room temp and they're active & breeding.

{ Please note: Flash popped the green out - its not that vivid. }

EDIT: Only a few males left. I don't want my females hassled to death so I'll let the males go for $5 each, first come, first served. End Edit.

My pick-up point is in Surrey, BC or I'll ship. Paypal/Credit cards/E-Mail Bank Transfer or cash please.

Thanks for your interest!

Yup, there's at least a couple in there, probably more. Get yourself a couple of female Sailfins and they'd make an interesting cross. Consider them yours. Marge hasn't dropped your fishies off yet, but when she does we'll get everything shipped off to you. We'll have to do it soon to avoid the holidays, and I need some of that huge water lettuce that ponds have - its it the huge stuff that you have?

Its fairly huge I guess, most of the leaves aren't actually in the water, I'm still puzzled as to how the fish will eat it actually...

There's two varieties, small and large. The small stuff my snails scarf down as quick as I can put it in there and it otherwise disappears even in the fish tanks so I guess the fish eat it. The large stuff, however, has longer roots and is bigger overall so its tougher to eat. Fish will, I'm told, nibble on the roots.

I've had some here and there but it never gets established. I'm hoping with lots I can keep it in several tanks and it will thrive in at least one. I need to set up another flourescent 10G - the plants are going nuts in the one I have, but its getting crowded.
