My Son brought this story home from school for me last year. A song & music video about a Remembrance Day in Nova Scotia and a royally PO'ed shopper, all based on a true story.
The singer was in the drug store when there was a store announcement as the clock approached 11 AM on November 11th, asking that shoppers observe 2 minutes of silence. People respected the request, except for one man with his young daughter. He got angry when the clerk wouldn't serve him and loudly went off on her. The singer tells of how hard it was for him to keep his own silence as he got more and more angry at the guy and wanted to hit him.
The video's images and the song's lyrics are very moving. It really brings it all home.

Music video here (http://www.army.forces.gc.ca/chief_land_staff/remembrance/english/video.asp).
Lest we forget.
