Depends on the fish, mine get: Zuchinni, Cucumbers, Peas, Orange slices (which I reccomend only for goldfish and right before a very large water change), spinach, carrots, peppers, romaine lettus, sodium free green beans out fresh or out of the can.

Just put it in a microwave bowl with water and cook in the microwave for a minute rinse with cool water and voila fish food. :)

If you leave it in for too long it will foul the water a few hours is fine.

Using fresh or frozen veggies works well if you have snails also.

I find some of my fish love broccoli florets, but are not interested in the stems.
The snails are happy with the stems and devour them quite quickly.

You can also put some items together and make your own fish food:

My plecos and snails got nuts for brocolli stems cut in half lengthwise. Which works out really well, cause we not big on the stems.

Chopped shrimp, fish or clams if you have predators or fish that appreciate a protein boost here and there.
