:goldfish: FREE IMAGE HOSTING/ALBUMS :fish:
Be it for showing off your fishies or even using them as a catalogue of what you have for sale, online image/video storage is fantastic for the online hobbyist in general. Some allow you to remote link to your photos for use in forums and auctions. Use others to send e-cards, create slideshows for your website, design fishy items, etc.
Following is a list of who does what:
Kodak EasyShare (http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-956580-10296033?cm_ven=CJ&cm_cat=239992&cm_pla=956580&cm_ite=Kodak+EasyShare+Gallery): I like the big names - its reassurance that they'll still be there tomorrow. Kodak offers 20 free prints with membership to their free online photo storage. They also facilitate uploads from your mobile phone. That'd be handy if you were trying to describe a fish to someone via phone, or how about describing a sale item on Boxing Day? :nah: :Dunno:
MediaMax (http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-956580-10412245) - Tons of free storage (25 GB's) and access to files, including music, video, photos and more. Paying users enjoy more capacity and virtually no restrictions. MediaMax, powered by Streamload, is always secure, backed up, and private.
Sony Image Station (http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-956580-10440700) - Classy & easily organized albums, ability to send e-Cards with your photos or create gifts like t-shirts, mugs, calendars, etc. Click on 'My Albums' in the top menu to register.
Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com) - Specifically designed for remote linking. Links are provided in straight link, BBC and HTML for your convenience. You can also create slide shows for your website and organize your photos into albums.
My Photo Album (http://www.myphotoalbum.com) - Free video and photo storage, various layouts/designs, etc.
Fotopic (http://www.fotopic.net/gallery/free/) - Free photo album with annotation feature so you can add dates, comments or copyrights.
Photosite (http://www.photosite.com/) - Customize albums & create screenshows.
That's the sites I've reviewed/used so far. If you have any to add, please feel free to do so. :D .
