Red Box Flashing

I wonder if there is a setting on my computer that makes reading the forum NOT turn this off. Even if I use the "Mark Forum as Read" under the tools, I still show the red flashing box on every one of them.

Anyone have an idea?

Still shows all of the flashing. I dump all pages stored although I use tools in IE. Also have tried the refreash on IE. One thing though, I have lots of services shut down in windows mainly due to using this machine to run a CNC Milling Machine. Lots of things in windows I don't need and they tend to cause problems with CNC. Figure it is one of those that causes it.
No real problem, just a minor thing.

after logging out, clearing your cache & rebooting?

The flashing relies on information stored on the forum under your membership, as opposed to cookie tracking. This is one of the few sites that doesn't even require that you have cookies turned on, in fact.

I don't know what the system uses specifically to track member activity but it may involve scripting and be traceable to one of those settings.

I'm sorry that it isn't working for you, that would annoy me too...lol.
