Ick?

My fish had white specks in its tail and it doesn't raise up like ICK.. what could it be?

well I put ICK OUT in just in case!

Ich spots don't necessarily look raised initially...only as they get larger and are ready to drop off. If it is Ich, it's best to catch it early.

Have you added any new fish or plants to the tank lately?

It sounds like ich.

What are your water params? Have you added any new fish lately?

Well, for me. I wait right by my tank, waiting for one of my fish to get into a 'good' pic position (they also have to be mostly still) then I click the button. About 1 out of 20 pics I take is good.

the best time to take the pics are when the lights are out, whenever you night cycle is. As the fish are sleeping, and ya can snap a pic of them without too much trouble, but will still take a couple tries.
