Hmm.. i wonder if my rainbow shark can have kids with my Bala shark.. thatd be interesting.. thats for sure. :laugh: Especially since my Bala seems to be getting bigger in the belly regions :wideeyed: Maybe its just growing.

Maybe.. but wouldn't it be so cool if they did breed and soon you had baby balabows (a little word I mixed with rainbow and bala)

If we're talking about Balantiocheilos melanopterus and Epalzeorhynchos frenatus, they're difficult to breed in captivity even with a pair of the same species, or so I've read. Unfortunately, its more likely that the Rainbow will harass the Bala to death. Maybe you'll get a nice 6' tank from Santa for the Bala ::D: .

haha, my Bala and rainbow get along great, they swim side by side, and even sleep side by side, along with my Chines Algae eater :wideeyed: Yah, im not getting anything for Christmas ::(:

aww that must suck! to much into aquariums? you cant find time to go on a date saturday because your doing waterchanges?

haha.. its kinda hard to find somebody to go on a date right around Christmas, as everybody is spending time with family. But eve if i did, doesnt mean id get a Christmas Present.. LOL
