You know, I just have to say how much I enjoy this site. I've been to a forum or two and usualy there is always someone telling you what you are doing wrong. I am new to this obbsession... Hobby. The tank I'm running is not the most aggresive but my crayfish makes it a little more challenging to keep everybody happy. But I am doing my best and enjoying it greatly. But the entire point of this post is that nobody has harrased me. Not once "Oh get this or that fish out it doesn't live in the exact water parametes of this fish" You know what I mean! I really appreciate this. I've been working nights so I'm reading alot of posts here that are probably a little older and I really think this is a great site eveyone is helpfull wether or not you are doing something they agree with. Not to mention the wealth of information some of you members and mods have cramed into those brains. I wonder how you have room left for normal life lol.

My thanks I'll probably stick around this forum.

Matt

That is exactly what I found when I came here!!! With english as my second language I sometimes sound like I don't know as much as I do but nobody talks to me like I am stupid here. When people disagree they are still so nice about it or they try to tell you what is wrong but make it ok for you to do what you want. They have to make sure things are right so other people don't get the wrong information but they still respect that other people are trying it and try to help. The best thing is that everyone acts like friends. THANK YOU FROM ME TOO!!!:notworthy:

It can take some nerving up for people to ask questions in the first place.

The last thing a growing forum needs is to have the people asking questions being shot down like they were some kind of idiot.

The whole point of this forum is to constructively help people who need it.

Trolls aren't needed or wanted here.

If I was able to offer up some useful information for you and your fish, then I've done my part to help out.

Thanks to all of you for helping to make CAC a better place !

We hope you do.
The best thing is that everyone acts like friends.

All the things you both mentioned is what keeps me here.

Ya, this forum is one of the best ive been on, and i have left forums previously that criticize you fo every decision ya make cause it snot the EXACT thing that they would do. Imma part of other forums as well, and right now, Canreef is EXACTLY like that, they got good info if ya can pass through all the crap that members there give you. Thinking about leaving that one. But yah, all in all, this forum is great :)

Everyone prefers different atmospheres. I haven't spent a lot of time on Canreef but its a popular site and I'm sure they help a lot of people too. So let's try to focus on what we like and keep the thread positive, if you would please. Its very nice that people are taking the time to post and we greatly appreciate it.:smile:

You're welcome. ::D:

I'm glad this forum is shaping up to be just that... a place where folks feel comfortable asking questions, seeking help & simply sharing what they are doing in the hobby. We have all you members to thank for that. After all this is your forum and you are the ones who help make it what it is. :cheers: ::D:

Your welcome, what can I say, I'm not a big forum jockey but I seem to like comming around here. I just can't put up with some of the crap and drama some places seem to harbour.
