I'm just wondering if anyone here can confirm if it is a clown pleco?

I'm not sure what kind of pleco he/she is. It actually looks somewhat like the common plecos I once had. If he/she is, they get huge. :wideeyed:

There is a pic of my clown pleco in this thread: http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93

That is not unfortunately a clown pleco. This http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=734 is a clown pleco for future reference. What you seem to have is one of the common plecos. As to the type I couldn't tell you. You could ask on www.plecofanatics.com (http://www.plecofanatics.com)

Perhaps it's a Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps?
