For those of you who feed this, do you soak it first? I bought some that my guppies seem to love.
Was thinking it might be good to soak it first so they would sink for the catfish to get some also.
This is only used one day aweek as a treat, at least that is what I have been doing.

I don't bother to soak them, but I also don't really have any bottom feeders.
I've read that alot of people soak them and then use a tube or turkey baster to deliver them directly to fish/critters that they want to feed them to.

I soak some of them so my corys get some. I also throw a chunk in frozen and watch the fish go at it lol. So much fun

Soaking can leach vitamins in fortified commercial foods, but otherwise it won't do any harm if you need them to sink. I used them for garlic & med soaks before. The Meat Tab's that I got from Ken's Fish would be good for bottom feeders.
