The first of 5 planned pleco purchases was made today when I was able to pick up a Hypancistrus zebra!

He is currently acclimating to my tank as we speak for temp and then a nice long slow drip over an hour to deal with the water.

Pics will be comming shortly!

A new aquarium store in Burlington called Alternative Aquariums.

Went out specifically for this guy and have to say was very impressed with the store. Tanks were clean, no signs of any stress or the like with the fish and all were healthy. Decent stock and selection. You can tell that it is a new store though... lol

I was going to offer you a ride there lol. And I heard I missed you by 20 minutes, you're going back for the next shipment he gets in I suppose? I was hoping I'd either catch you or beat you there just to take a look. I was looking for longfin red marbled calico pleco's but they were all already gone. ::(:

He's bigger then I expected, which is great! Is it sexable yet?

He is believed to be male due to the more streamlined body

The next time I go I'll let you know or let me know if you are planning on making your way up there and maybe I can give you a ride. My husband would be thrilled not to have to go with me. I think he only goes so he can control my spending anyways lol.

I think he only goes so he can control my spending anyways lol.You think???

Hubby left for snowmobiling on Wed. I was warned no more tanks. Cause that is usually when I add them. Can't take it back once it is filled right. But this time I have been very good.

She's being very good...Woman aren't you are about to go to an auction LOL?! All bets are off when there's an auction!

My hubby is leaving tommorrow for Army guy stuff and I'm already plotting and planning. I think I saw fear in his eyes last night when I was cleaning out a rubbermaid and testing a heater to see if it still worked. :Neener: I could always *cough* lend you a tank Pam  ...I mean if I left it there by accident and all why shouldn't you use it?

If I weren't so busy with school I be plotting and planning. About the auctions he never said no shopping. If he gets to go snowmobiling, then I get to shop. Saving the money I saved on not buying a tank to buy fish!!!
