Fast Food - mollie style

This afternoon I was netting a bunch of fry from my 70g to put into the 20g fry grow-out tank, when I caused the instant death of one of my mollie fry. ::(: It fled from the sight of my net straight into the open mouth of it's mama right before my eyes.:swoon: I couldn't help but feel guilty. Oh, I know that mama (& the other fish in the tank) had probably had been having 'fry-snacks' all day long but this one might have escaped if it hadn't been for me.:wideeyed: Oh the joys of breeding such little cannibalistic livebearers. :rolleyes:

I can relate....

At feeding time last night, I noticed one of my keyhole cichlids did not
come up to eat. Fearing the worst, I start looking all over the tank panicking.

The result of the search was not good...

He was found hiding behind the mopani cave, with a few mm of
siamese algae eater tail, sticking out of it's mouth..... :confused:

Definitely not good.:no: It explains why he wasn't hungry. :err: Guess he figured h'd find his own dinner.
