While I'm not a big fan of using baking soda to boost KH/pH because I find it unstable, I know some use the method and calculations are important. With these calculators you can calculate the amount of baking soda required to boost the KH by a specific amount, and then calculate the pH change at the resulting KH level. The latter is useful for anyone who knows their KH and wants to know how it will impact their pH.

I am no chemist so I can't tell you how accurate it is. Maybe someone else can have a look and let us know.
