Decided to go with no sand for now...just is easier to clean and allows me to spend another 120 on rock. Speaking of which, I go the last 4 pieces, a measly 15 lbs, but they're getting more in the end of this month, so I'll stock up then. Anyways, here's the pictures...

I'm getting a koralia 4 this saturday (1200 gph movement) which, combined with the other powerheads and the return pump) will give me approximately 44x the tanks volume. eeeeexcellent.

Thats a nice tank :) Maybe you should give up, and send it my way.

Well, with Salt water, you dont have to clean the sand, especially if its live sand, all the little bugs'n'stuff sift it for yh. ::D:

It's always fun to plan and set up a new tank. Keep us posted. It'll be interesting to watch the progress.

Thanks for the comments. This is my first larger sw tank attempt. I have a 20 gallon with about 30 lbs of live rock and some polyps which is home to 4 neon gobies. Its a small tank, but havn't really had any problems with it once it was set up and running. It's been going strong for about a year now.

In may my 225 comes in, unfortunately it's already spoken for by the arowana. But that leaves another 90 open....herm....decissions decissions!

In incraments (a few a week over the course of the next month) I'll be adding:
15 - 20 Hermit Crabs
30-40 Turbo Snails
20 Trochus Snails
2 Sailfin Blennies
4 Emerald Crabs

The emerald crabs would only really be added if I have a bubble algae outbreak. Right now the tank glass just seems to turn green overnight LOL

Very nice! I like your rockscaping. The tang must be hiding.. they are such funny fish. Mine wont come out if he sees a camera or strangers.
Good Job and more pictures!

Very nice. Would love to see a pic of the tang if you manage to get a pic. (yours too Shelley, if you ever convince him to be less camera shy).
