50 - Then everyone will tell me how young I look for 50.... I hope.
How could I forget that we're both Spring babies? Especially when I start counting the shopping days until our birthdays.::D:

Pamelajo

Bring snails Pam - they usually do ok and if you have some to clear out its a good way to rehome them even if you don't make much of anything. I find that its best to put a bunch in fewer bags than to have lots of bags of them. If there's too many bags then the price is lower. You could even do something like a couple of Spixies and a clutch with a few plant bits in a bag. If I have them I usually try to put a small plant in the bag with the snail - shows it off and somehow adds value.
Then you can tell hubby that you are going to go to an auction to MAKE money!

Did you win the lottery?
If I won the lottery you'd woulda heard me screaming shouts of joy from my house to yours lol. I did sell a few bags of shrimp and a few pleco's that hubby surprised me with. A guy he works with has a brother in law who is was supposedly a big breeder and had blue eyed longfin plecs & chocolate longfins (L144's). Well they were neither blue eyed or long finned lol so I've been trying to move em out. I'm still on the fence and if I do go I certainly won't have a lot of mad money but I can't seem to help myself lol. If you'd like to come along lemme know. :)

Oh good! I was hoping you'd be there! Should I bring you the stuarti's? They are starting to eat me out of house and home! Andrew I'm bringing you some too lol. Like it or not! I am still unsure of what time we are going to be there and am trying to get it sorted out. I'm thinking 12 ish? Or is that too late?

Whatever works for the two of you. Yes if you want to bring the Stuarti would be great. Is there anything you want me to bring you. Kat do you want the brown lace pleco, I think I want to concentrate on the albino sow if you want him he is yours and I can bring him tomorrow.

Aww you're no fun. If your not going and :secret:if hubby does not go(fingers crossed) there will no one there to keep us in check.
:waycool: :red_dance: :waycool: :red_dance: :waycool:
Okay so they don't take credit cards:confused: that has got to be a man thing. If women ran it we would accept credit cards.
Kat if something happens and you can't make it then call me. I will pm you my number, just in case you misplaced it.

My hubby is going lol. He thinks I actually want him to go. Silly man! But I have no intention of being kept in check he he he! I'd love the pleccie. I still have that starlight for you as well. I am 5 days without the superbug now so I'm going to watch and wait another week or two because its taken 6 month to kill this thing and has killed more of my fish then I'd like to think about. I'm hoping to nab a few more king tigers tomorrow and am on the hunt for some L260's as well.

Pam, did you come home with any money left in your wallet? (if not, don't worry, I won't tell hubby.)

Hubby went with me and I was pretty good only spent 50 plus tax. He was a little shocked at what I paid for the lf albino pleco, but he got over it quickly when I told him the pet store pays 10 for each baby. ::D: Got to spend money to make money or in this case store credit to pay for supplys, dog and cat foot

Good point, Pam. I'm sure at home the only side of the hobby he sees is all the work involved  ... and the enjoyment you get out of your fish, of course.

He was saying on the way home that our club should be holding an auction so our club can make money too and our members. We have a big one every other year and we should be holding one this year sometime. So hopefully I have lots for it and he can watch my stuff being auctioned off. It would be nice it we could get a bunch of the Ontario members out to it.
Kat love the pics. He looks right at home and so does his favourite hiding spot. King Tiger is awesome can't wait to see more pics of the others.

I'm glad everyone who attended had a good time at the auction. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay around. Had to look after the preggo wife at home. LOL
At least this way I didn't spend any money.
