Can Java moss handle salt?

The new guppies are showing signs of an infection. I can't tell if it's bacterial or fungal so I have dosed the tanks with Melafix and Pimafix. I want to add some aquarium salt as well but am not sure if the java moss will tolerate it. Anyone have any experience?

If that is the moss you got from me, it can handle up to a 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons dose.
It's handled it before.

Mine hates it... but then again, most plants don't like me so it could have been that too...lol. I hope your Guppies get better soon!
