Raising Magnesium Level

Good Day,

I am trying to raise my magnesium level, when I started level was 1080ppm, now its 1050ppm :-(

I use Seachem Magnesium and Magnesium Test Kit by Salifert.

Any clue?
Here is my schedule how I added it fro the last 6 days

01/March - 7g (had to raise by 5ppm)
02/March - 7g (had to raise by 5ppm)
03/March - 14g (had to raise by 10ppm)
04/March - 21g (had to raise by 15ppm)
05/March - 28g (had to raise by 20ppm)
06/March - 28g (had to raise by 20ppm)

Although I don't do marine aquaria, I have been focusing on magnesium as of late for my vast array of snails...lol. I find that if I understand the science behind something, I can better address it. This article (http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/oct2003/chem.htm)gave me much more relevant info than most combined.:smile:
