Tonight I decided to try to snap some photos of my fry. It didn't work (I can't get really get them into focus).

However, I inadvertantly caught one of Pam's young White-tipped BN's. I didn't even realize it until I zoomed in on the picture.

The log, MTS and some fry, and.... look if you look closely in the center, at the bottom of the log, you'll see the BN looking out.

Here's a closer shot. It looks like he's saying:

What'cha'lookin'at?

He's probably mad because all he has to hang out with is whiney babies! Although the leftovers probably make him happy.

You're probably right. I keep him and his brother or sister (don't know which yet) in the fry tank to help with the clean-up (fry get lots of extra feedings  )

They do an awesome job of fry tanks. I find they are not as good a cleaning up when they become adults. Thanks for posting that pic.

Yes, Pam, you're right about them doing an awesome job on the fry tanks. These little ones feed non-stop, racing around as fast as they can to catch every little scrap of food that sinks to the bottom. I guess when they get older, they don't need to constant intake of food (24/7) and get lazier about rushing around to find it. They'd probably rather just have a large plate of dinner served. (Like one big chunk of zucchini.) That way they can just settle down inn one spot and eat to their heart's content
