Avatar?

I cannot seem to add an Avatar to my profile, I wonder if I need to be approved before doing so?
It tells me I am trying to do something that is not allowed, ("like edit another person's profile") which is not the case.
I also cannot edit my profile whatsoever. Help?

I believe all new members have to be reviewed/approved by the admin before they are able to access certain features of the site. This is to help us combat spammers. Just be patient and I'm sure CACAdmin will have your account status changed in no time.

We apologize for the restrictions placed on new members when they join. However, due to some problems we had with people spamming the boards and our members, we had to implement a 'New Member' status for all new members to enable us to review accounts before allowing full privileges.

You are correct in that you (as a 'New Member') cannot edit your profile until your account has been reviewed.
