154What the heck is this ... found it in a quaritine tank that I put plants that I have purchased in before I plant them... this critter is lime green buggy orange eyes and six legs on the front end and has a lyre style tail about 1/2" in length

I dont think so but who knows... I have seen mosquito and dragon fly Nymphs before and they have like a million legs this just has three on each side..
Daugher almost jumped out of her chair when I showed her that critter....
I should google dragon fly nymgh for pictures / thanks for the help

Had a look at some pictures... likely is in the dragon fly or damselfly familly / only thing different is the rear quarter of this critter... it has a tail like a lyre tail guppy where the pictures have an oval shaped rear quarter

Could be at a different stage of development maybe? Not a good thing to have in an aquarium at any rate. They like to eat babies. :wideeyed:

The Damsel Nymph has a lyretail.

I found some creepy crawly in Cabomba once - freaked me right out. :Eek:
