I survived, barely, but I'm telling you, don't go out there. Its scary. People are grumpy, the debit lines are down because they're overloaded, the bank machines are empty because everyone had to take cash out to buy their stuff since they couldn't use debit, the line-ups are INSANE, everyone wants donations when your hands are full, and a drunk guy talked my ear off outside of Walmart while I waited and waited and WAITED for a cab....

... just don't go. Stay home. Have rum & eggnog.

Yeah but I'm out of eggnog to go with the rum so gotta go get some. (and some groceries so I can have something to cook... can't live on pizza!)

I worked in returns! Everyone was great except for a few customers. One of our associates had knit 300+ toques for the whole store. So all of us were wearing these toques and some looking a little goofy. I dont think people could get mad :cool: . Hope that works for after christmas in returns :D yeah...right.

Wow - that's a lot of knitting! I hope you got a group shot of you all wearing them.

I would not want to work returns after Christmas. May the force be with you & all that.:wideeyed:

I heard on the business channel that people nationwide have been putting off their shopping. Their theory: its too warm out and so it just doesn't feel like Christmas. My theory: the business channel people are idiots.

thats horrible to hear...

our family agreed to let this one slide, we were sick of spending the year saving and saving, only to blow everything we had on gifts and be right back were we started for the new year...

i tell ya, i think we have found a new way to cellebrate the holidays... hahahaha

but, i've had a few trips to the bank that are right beside the mall and you can just feel how misserable and streesed out everyone is all over the place... everyone will relax again once they have all their stuff bought, hahaha

anywho, however you may be cellebrating it, take it easy, kick the feet up and relax...
