I have a bubbler and a sand bottom aquarium. when I turn my bubbler on it puts little grins of sand in the air. then it would get sucked up by my filter and wreck the "propeller majiggy
thing" how do I stop this?

I would get rid of the bubbler... they serve no real purpose from what I understand...

Just pick up an airstone that has a suction cup attached to it and put it on the back tank wall above the sand. I believe Rena makes a ceramic suction cup airstone that goes for $3-$4.00
If the air is blowing above the sand it shouldn't move it around, or shorten your airline tubing and dangle the bubbler you have now rather then set it in the sand.
