Ok, so now I'm on my 3rd litter, somewhere between 15-20 I still have a good 15 from the last batch and the first 4 that come around. The original 4 are only starting to show collor. Now what the **** do I do with all these little guys. None of my fish are eating the babies. So I really don't know what to do. I've got a Gourami, 2 guppies 1m 1f, 3 mollies, 2 blue rams, a red tail black shark and a big ole pleco. My cray and a small school of 5 glow light (I think they have the red stripe from the eyes) Nobody seems interested in eating them. My tank is now officialy over run and I'm concerned about the biolaod now. When the babies get big enough my LFS will take them and even give me store credit for them.... but they are breeding way faster than they are growing.

It good to hear that you are concerned about the numbers and the bio-load. You have a couple of options. You could give some away or post them for trade in the Swap section (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=32) or sell them on the CAC Auction (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/ClassAuction/). If you want to grow them out to store size you will need a fry/growout tank. It doesn't need to be anything fancy but you will need the usual filtration and heater for it. In the interim, doing extra water changes will help.

But with the number of fry I have already wouldn't I need a fair sized grow out tank since the biolad would add up very fast already. I have a 33gal setup right now with the above described inhabitants.

Bag 'em up, give them away or sell them as bags of fry and keep only male Livebearers. We either have the room to breed or we don't, unfortunately, but that's the only two scenarios unless you want to get rid of bags of fry every month or two.

Well the guppy was originaly bought for the sake of being a feeder. But she outsmarted my terrible hunter of a cray lol So I decided to keep her. But yikes. The male was just added the other day lol. All these litters are still from pet store stock (sperm) I figured my fish would mow down on the babies keeping the population under control. Is there anything you can think of that would work well in my tank that would enjoy a guppy fry feast?

lol So I'm not crazy I figured everyone in my tank would want to eat them lol. But then again My crayfish gets bullied so I tend to get the oddballs lmao.

So far anyway ::D: .
I'm sure you'll find a nice home for her quite easily.

I am almost tempted to take some babies... post them as "swap/free", I think that's probably the best advice, from Melody.

I want to avoid shipping, but if it comes down to that I might have to.

Put ads up every where , supermarkets , telegraph poles , corner store it wont take long before they find homes .
Put the word out where you work or at school youll be amazed at how many people keep aquariums. Good Luck

Bring them to a local fish store and do a trade in. I'd call first but most stores are usually okay with trade in's. In the past I've traded in snails, guppies, platy and shrimp for store credit. Pays for some fish food at least. :)
