I am really glad you didn't have that pic posted before I made today's purchase....lol....I think you have a new loyal customer. Does this one need injections? I have the light in one tank but I don't fuss over the plants by any means - are they delicate?

I'm starting a wish list for after Christmas ;) .

Ludwigia sp. 'Guinea' is relatively easy compare to tonina and eriocaulon sp.

I tried this plant in a shaded area and it grew, but the color wasn't as pronounced and the plant was small but the upper leaves were still red. I wouldn't try this plant in a normal fish tank. This plant needs a decent amount of nutrients to stay pretty.

A 10 gallon with 2 screwin 15 watt flourorescent bulb and CO2 will be enough to grow this plant. Any tank that can grow flat glosso is can grow this.

I wil try to get a photo of the rotala sp mini asap. I still waiting for the last of the bba to go away.
I am selling off things to fund for more corydoras, powerhead and heaters. :D

LOL I hear ya - its an expensive addiction.

I don't mind providing nutrients, I just don't want to get into injections. I think I'll put it on my list of plants I would really like to kill :wideeyed: . Seriously though, I think I'll try it out if you still have some after I get this stupid commercial holiday out of the way <BAH HUMBUG!>. Thanks for the informative answer.:)
