Well I've got my mollies in the tank. have been there for months, Haven't dropped one batch. It seems strange to me. My guppie has dropped about 3 in half that or less. Not that I have room for babies but I'd rather baby mollies that guppies lol

Baby Mollies are easier to catch than baby Guppies - they're slower and larger so they're easier to spot. If they're female, you can be sure they're dropping regularly.

Hmmm, I guess I'll just have to asume they are all getting eaten. She hasn't even changed apperance to look like she was all that prego and then skinnied up. I figured since I have floating plants lots of holley drifwood and plants all over some would survive but I guess not.

I would assume so unless she has now used up all the stored sperm and there are no males in the tank.

Don here from Cambridge. I am a new member who has had mollies for 18 months.
Is the male actively mating with the females several times a day?
The males in my 25 gal. have plenty of energy when either mating or chasing each other around.
I have Hornwort floating on the top which provides good cover for the fry.
The females have had as few as 4 fry and mid April one of the greenish brown females had around 50 and I think they have all survived as of today.
The mollies are fed flake daily and frozen blood worm and frozen brine shrimp once a week. Tank temperature is 80F and 30% water change weekly.
Hope this will help in some way.
