An odd Catfish with protruding teeth is one of 52 new species of animals and plants to be identified in Borneo since 2005.

The odd part of this colorful cat (Glyptothorax exodon) is that it has suction cups on its stomach for sticking to rocks in its fast flowing habitat. Sounds like the perfect occupant for my dream river tank ;) .
Also discovered were six new species of Siamese Fighting Fish (Bettas).
The habitat is human-threatened of course:no: . I am hoping that some of the species will be available, if only briefly, to serious hobbyists intent on preservation, just in case.
