2 1/2 weeks ago she gave birth...she is thin and fins clamped. She has been this way since the first day? Is this normal? I moved her into another tank because PePe was bothering her so much. Like right after birth he was after her to get pregnant again?

The birthing process takes its toll and because of it she can be susceptible to infection, etc. Pepe's attentions are normal. Males try to mate with them immediately after the female gives birth (They know she has just given birth and they want to be the 1st to deposit their sperm).

She could be just very stressed but more likely she's fighting infection and Pepe's attentions aren't helping. In that you didn't lose her shortly after she dropped the fry, there's a good chance she'll recover and do fine. If you have a q-tank, put her in it by herself, add a bunch of plants (plastic will do fine) to calm her, add a little salt (to keep bacteria levels down) and keep the lights out.

Sometimes the stress of illness can actually cause them to drop as well. Is this the one that dropped right after you bought her? Is she eating? Keep an eye out for stringy and/or white feces.

Definitly quarantine for both her recovery and to prevent spreading if it is a disease/parasite.

Hope she improves for you soon!

Awww... poor girl. I hope she recovers for you!

White feces is bad? One of my fish has that... what does it mean?

It can mean internal parasites.... or they like marshmallows  . If there are no other symptoms it's probably nothing.

THAT's where my marshmallows went! I was going to make Rice Krispie Squares the other day. . . .

lol@pinto!!!!

I did move her out of the tank and she is swimming and eating but looks horrible!

I have had her sometime now...maybe 6 months? More?

Pepe is ticked at me I moved all his harem! But too bad for him really! I couldn't believe how aggresive he was towards her.
