Canadian Aquarium Connection Auction
Summer 2008 Contest
Official Rules
CONTEST DURATION
Contest will begin a the beginning of the day on June 2, 2008 and will close at the end of the day on July 31, 2008. (Dates and times will be determined by the dates and times of the listings according to the GeoClassAuctions Enterprise software.
ELIGIBILITY
Every member of CanadianAquariumConnection.com Auction will automatically be granted one entry for each item listed for a duration equal to or greater than 5 days with the following exceptions. Administrators of Canadian Aquarium Connection, or members of their immediate family and/or those individuals living in the same household of each are NOT eligible. Members who have had their auction privileges suspended by Canadian Aquarium Connection as of the closing date of the contest are also NOT eligible. Canadian Aquarium Connection reserves the right to determine and verify all eligibility requirements.
PRIZE ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to win a member must list an item or items for auction during the period of the contest as follows:
Each item must be listed for a time frame equal to or greater than 5 days.
Renewals of auction listings are also eligible.
All listings must conform to the Terms and Conditions of the CanadianAquariumConnection Auction.
Please remember that listing an item for sale obligates you to sell the item to the winning bidder.
Any listings deemed by the administration as to being listed greatly in excess of actual value so that they will not sell and appear to be listed for sale simply in order to gain an additional entry into the contest will be disqualified as will any other attempts to manipulate the number of eligible entries. All decisions with regard to this will be totally at the discretion of the Administration of CanadianAquariumConnection.com.
The Prize will only be awarded to the member who upon being notified of having won a prize, replies with acceptance of the prize and a confirmed mailing address.PRIZE
The prize for this contest consists of one Starter Shipping Kit provided by CanadiansInternet.com and CanadianAquariumConnection.com. The shipping kit consists of:

TapeAdditional note: The prize must be accepted as awarded. Canadian Aquarium Connection reserves the right to substitute any item in the kit with something of equal or greater value in the event the item is unavailable or for any other reason it deems necessary.
PRIZE WINNER
The prize winner will be decided by random draw from all entrants. All decisions of Canadian Aquarium Connection regarding the award of prizes are final.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
The winner will be notified by the Administrator(s) by a Private Message on the Canadian Aquarium Connection website the Winner will have 2 weeks (14 days) from the date of attempted notification to reply to this notification and accept his/her prize. Failure to reply within this time frame or non compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and, at the discretion of Canadian Aquarium Connection, the prize will be revoked.
POSTING OF THE WINNER
The winner's USERNAME will be posted on the Canadian Aquarium Connection website.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
By participating, members agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Canadian Aquarium Connection and its sponsors, which are final and binding in all respects. Members agree to hold Canadian Aquarium Connection, its sponsors, and their respective families, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, prize manufacturers/distributors and the respective directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing (collectively, the "Released Parties"), harmless against any and all claims and/or liability arising out of or in connection with participation in this contest, acceptance, use or redemption of a prize, and/or use of any rights granted herein.
Released Parties are not responsible for late, delayed, misdirected, lost, damaged, or undelivered communications, including but not limited to private messages and email; or for any other errors or problems of any kind relating to or in connection with the contest, including, but not limited to errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the contest, the announcement of the prizes or winners or in any contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any injury or damage to person(s) or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from an individual’s participation in the contest.
