I'm not sure if there's something wrong with this guy or whether it's just a strange colour.
Anyone have any ideas?

That is breeding colours.
Male will get a reddish V shape when they are in the mood.

um...i have 2 really small white tipped BN's - i don't think they're big enough to breed...anyone selling any albino females that are the proper size?

The albino male looks very young (not many bristles yet) so maybe like any juvie, he's in the mood but not yet ready to tackle the job of hatching the eggs. However, you never know, first I'd get him a cave (if he doesn't already have one) and see if he's making attempts to attract a mate.

good idea - i think i'm just overly eager cause i've been wanting to breed these guys for awhile.

Mine didn't seem interested in breeding until the bristles came in. He had the 'V' for a long time.

Mr. Mykiss has ABN's.
