Lee Newman strikes again.:notworthy: The first to successfully spawn Retroculus Xinguensis.
I'm lucky enough to have 4 juvies.(and by lucky, I mean lucky enough to have a wife that will support rearranging our multiple tanks to allow me to have them)
These guys are GREAT! They are housed in a 55 "river" tank, with small pebble substrate, decorated with numerous boulders in an attempt to resemble a fast flowing riverbed. Ph is 6.4. The lighting is a little bright right now, but I'm planning to add blackwater extract once I'm sure everything is fine, and that will help diffuse the light and better simulate their natural habitat in the Rio Xingu. :GEEK:
