Canadian Aquarium Connection Membership Drive Contest 2007
Official Rules
CONTEST DURATION
The contest will begin at 00:01 PST on January 1, 2007 and will close at 14:00 PDT on July 1, 2007.
ELIGIBILITY
All individuals who are registered members of Canadian Aquarium Connection either at the time start of the contest or before the closing date and time of the contest with the following exceptions. Administrators of Canadian Aquarium Connection, or members of their immediate family and/or those individuals living in the same household of each are NOT eligible. Members who are Banned by Canadian Aquarium Connection as of the closing date of the contest are also NOT eligible. Canadian Aquarium Connection reserves the right to verify all eligibility requirements.
Only one registrant per IP address.
PRIZE ELGIBILITY
Prizes will only be awarded to members who upon being notified of having won a prize, provide the Administrator(s) of Canadian Aquarium Connection of their actual name and a valid Canadian mailing address, to enable the awarding and shipping of the prize to the winner. This confidential information will not be shared with anyone other than the sponsor of the prize awarded (and then only if and as required).
PRIZES
Main Prizes to be awarded are:
1st Prize is a $200.00 Gift Certificate from Pacific Aquatics
2nd Prize is a $50 Gift Card from J & L Aquatics
3rd Prize is a $50 value Fish Food basket supplied by CanadiansInternet.com
4th Prize is a 12 issue subscription to Tropical Fish Hobbyist Magazine
5th Prize is a $25 Gift Certificate and custom art depicting the fish of your choice from Massive Aggression
6th Prize is a $25 Gift Certificates from SuperPet (Richmond)
7th Prize is a one (1) pound Fish Food Assortment provided by Uncle Rick
8th Prize is a one (1) pound Fish Food Assortment provided by Uncle Rick
Random Draw Prizes include:

Additional note: Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Canadian Aquarium Connection reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the prize is unavailable or for any other reason it deems necessary.
PRIZE WINNERS
Winners will be decided based upon by the total number of referrals (as tracked by our vBulletin Software), by the closing date and time of the contest. In the event of a tie, the members who have tied for a prize with other members will be notified by the Administration of the details of a tie-breaker mini-contest. Additionally, there will be a random draw for some additional prizes at the end of the contest into which all members who have at least one referral (as tracked by our vBulletin Software), by the closing date and time of the contest will be entered. All decisions of Canadian Aquarium Connection regarding the award of prizes are final.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners will be notified by the Administrator(s) by a Private Message on the Canadian Aquarium Connection website Winners will have 2 weeks (14 days) from the date of attempted notification to reply to this notification and accept their prizes. Failure to reply within this time frame or non compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and, at the discretion of Canadian Aquarium Connection, the prize will be revoked and winner will be announced.
POSTING OF WINNERS LIST
A list of winning members posted by their website USERNAME, their number of referrals and prizes awarded will be posted on the Canadian Aquarium Connection website once all prizes have been awarded.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
By participating, members agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Canadian Aquarium Connection and its sponsors, which are final and binding in all respects. Members agree to hold Canadian Aquarium Connection, its sponsors, and their respective families, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, and the respective directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing (collectively, the "Released Parties"), harmless against any and all claims and/or liability arising out of or in connection with participation in this contest, acceptance, use or redemption of a prize, and/or use of any rights granted herein.
Released Parties are not responsible for late, delayed, misdirected, lost, damaged, or undelivered communications, including but not limited to private messages and email; or for any other errors or problems of any kind relating to or in connection with the contest, including, but not limited to errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the contest, the calculation of referrals, the announcement of the prizes or winners or in any contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any injury or damage to person(s) or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from an individual’s participation in the contest.
