At this point hubby's arrival date home has just been bumped up to Sunday so I may not be attending. If he's coming later then you are welcome to ride with me, not sure you'd want to be stuck there from dawn till the bitter end though. I left my house at 8am this morning for London and arrived home at 8:15pm. :err:

Are you possibly standing me up again? A broken ankle is one thing, but hubby's arrival does not count! I just an in the midst of making critter crumbs to bring you.
Keep me posted!

I'm going for sure, hubby is still throwing himself out of planes. My In laws are trying to convince me to go there afterwards, if hubby goes. I keep trying to explain the concept of having stressed fish in a bag. Stressed fish=Stressed Out Owner. But of course, they are just fish!
I told her to stop by the auction, then I can hide/sit with Pam.

Got everything organized for tomorrow. All labels made, sellers sheet ready. Dry goods labeled and packed. So just have to bag everyone and stick the labels on.
Ross are you taking anything to sell? And are you looking for anything in particular?

I had a great time Pam and I took turns bidding on the same items and confusing the auctioneers...I wouldn't let her bid on my shrimp . It was so nice to finally meet Ross (Knave TO). Your friend is a VERY patient person! Even I want to take him to lunch for his patience! A great day was had by all...
I came home with some starlight plecos, more phantom aspidoras, longfinned albino corys & some more weitzmani's. And a BOAT LOAD of critter crumbs!
Pamelajo

I don't think you got a boat load!:nah:But enough to do you for awhile. Yes it was nice to meet Ross and his very patient friend. When bidding on Kat's shrimp I think we had the poor auctioneer wondering, I keep bidding she keeps telling me no. Yes it was a great day Kat brought me a bag of shrimp and I managed to buy a bag also of hers. I also got some weitzmani's and also some black phantom aspidoras, which are so cute. We have similar tastes can you tell.
And no we were not outbidding each other just took turns on them. They were from our favourite breeder down here.
We saw soooooo many angel fish.

Yeah Dav is a very patient man. I took him out for lunch afterwards... I am probably going to have to give a hand one of these weekends on renovations for his house as payback... LOL
Walked out of there with a baby L66 and a trio synos petricola to go with the lonely guy in my tank. It was nice to finally meet Kat and Pam.
And yes it seemed almost every table had a couple of bags of Angels AND a couple of bags of BN's

Sorry I missed it, but we'd already gone to Waterloo to have a meeting about the next CAOAC convention in '09. It will be the 50th! We'll have some info to post on it soon.
Hamilton always has good auctions. No show though?
