I'm a cichlid freak. No denying it. I especially like Geophagus. I was wondering what cichlids everybody else keeps.

I'll go first.

Retroculus Xinguensis
Satanaperca Leucostica
Satanaperca Juripari
Satanaperca Daemon
Geophagus Surinemensis
Geophagus Steindachneri

Heros Severus
Jack Dempseys

Xystichromis Phytophagus

OK, Your turn........

My Son has one lone female Electric Yellow Cichlid named Zap (is he creative with names or what?) I strongly suspect she's a mutt actually, in fact I'm pretty much certain...lol....but she won't be bred and we love her anyway.:D

Melody please don't call me Mr. you know me better than that don't you?

It's OK, she calls everybody 'Mr.'... even me. I think it's just her idea of good manners... her mama talk her really well! ;)

I call everyone 'Mr.' or 'Ms.', its a gesture of respect. I have no idea why I started that actually, but it appears to be catching on and I do like the respectful atmosphere that it invites. If I use your name, nobody will know who I'm talking about. If I use your username, you are reduced to an unknown stranger on the Internet. Just consider yourself lucky that I don't hug you when I see you, which I wouldn't put past me either  .

On with the show - love the set up. I didn't realize it was new - congrat's on the purchase. I'll look forward to seeing it occupied.

Melody

I see your point. I don't think they'd want to hug you at all.
