It was two years ago at NOON PDT that CanadianAquariumConnection.com was launched!

And we're going to celebrate!

What are we doing to celebrate? Stay tuned, we'll tell you in a moment.
First I'd like to say, it has been wonderful to watch our community grow over the past two years. Our membership has reached 750 and continues to grow daily. But the number of members does not a community make.:no: It is the participation of people like you who come here to enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere here at CAC. It’s the members (from beginner to advanced fish-keeper) who contribute to the experience through questions, shared knowledge/experiences, articles, photos and in-depth discussions.:yes:
In addition, I'd like to take a moment to thank our staff (for their generous donation of time and efforts) and our sponsors. :notworthy:
So, now what are we doing to celebrate?

Well, it’s rather difficult to organize a cross-Canada party, so instead we’ll be launching an Anniversary Contest.:waycool: There will be some awesome prizes to be won! I can't wait to tell you about the 1st prize but you'll have to await the announcement of the contest to find out what the rest will be.
The 1st prize will be a copy of the book Baensch Aquarium Atlas Volume 3 generously donated by member Namor (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/member.php?u=449) . :notworthy: This book contains an amazing 1100 color photos and information on over 900 species of fish and 80 aquatic plants and retails for around $95.00. I'd know I'd love to keep this for myself but it was donated for the contest so I have to behave. ::(: I so want to browse through it but can't (I don't want to break the book spine.)
