Most of us have been busy shopping both before and after Christmas. Some purchases may have been items with warranties for which you need to keep the cash register receipt in the event that you have a warranty claim.
Make a photocopy of the receipt! Most cash register receipts are printed on thermal paper and the ink disappears over a relatively short period of time :err:(receipts a few months old can have faded beyond recognition!) If you don't make a photocopy, you may not be able to prove date of purchase :POed:and have difficulty making a warranty claim.
