Interesting article with case studies relating to controlling various algae blooms and inducing healthy plant growth. This one is for the chemistry guru's.
I was going to stick it in the articles section, but since algae issues seem to often dominate these threads I figured it might be better served to add it here instead. Feel free to move it if need be.

Great article! So now not only do we have the 'how-to', but also a source to get what we need.

I have no objections to posting them in the appropriate threads - makes sense to me :) . Our efforts are better focused on the big stuff than nit-picking. Ever notice that most nit-picking is based on the personal opinion of the nit-picker? No wonder nit-picky systems are in chaos half the time....lol.

Back to the topic at hand, I have much to learn about algae, but with the snails I've never had to worry about it. However, I do have better lighting now, which will mean more plants and bigger problems to manage. I'm sure I'll refer to the article often.

I have tried to access this article but cannot. Has the address changed? or does anyone have a different route to it ? It's mentioned in many places on the net all with the same address.

Ms. Aquascaper posted the original source as she should have, but the site appears to be gone. Thanks for letting us know - I'll correct it in the initial post. It's a fantastic article!
