I will definitely be going as usual. I haven't quite decided yet what I am bringing but probably at least some snails and mollies.

I've been thinking about it. I always send snails and this year will be no different. Probably some seaweed flakes & crushed oyster shell, a couple of Limia species...that's about all I can think of at the moment. Now Ms. Fishykisses has me contemplating my new plants but I can't think of any I am willing to let go of!:laugh:

I'm looking for driftwood or manzanita wood, albino longfin BN's, probably some L144's and some nifty livebearers. Last year I got a bunch of african cichlids for sooo cheap but my tank is full this year, so i can't get tempted.

Very good turnout at the auction. Here's a pic of the sea of tables of goodies up for auction. (Also notice all the tanks lining the wall)

Needless to say I came home a little poorer (my purchases for the mostpart were plants).

Looks like lots of goodies. How long did the auction last?

It started at 10 a.m. and went to around 5 pm if I recall correctly (with a 1/2 hour break for lunch).

You already said you got lots of plants but did you make any good scores on fish Jay? It looks like you easily could have done. I don't think I have seen a lunch break at any auction that I've been to.

It was a lot of fun - i cleaned up!
i got the 2 pairs of Lafia killi's
8 albino BN's
3 garnet tetras
3 flame tetras
a trio of spotted gold molly's
a madagascar rainbow
a big bag of chain plants
a big bag of Bacopta caroliniana
a pleco breeding cave
and saggitaria sufulata plant
and the cutest little banana plant
and i won....
a 24" GLO T5 HO double light high output, linear fluorescent lighting system with a dual outlet timer!!!!!
