I thought I would share this picture of a 300 gallon stock tank that I used after my fish out grew my 150 gallon.

Very cool. How did you build it? I want to do something like that for my turtle.

I'm glad you like it!

Essentially, it's a stock tank lined with pond liner. This one was 35"W x 94"L x 23"D so the footprint was ~22 ft sq. I had it in a room in my basement set on interlocking foam pads. I used bog filtration so the bog was made to take up the remainder of the wall and match the tank width. I cut MDF to make a ledge around the tank rim to discourage jumpers and to block fish from getting behind the tank where I couldn't get at them. I covered the ledge with soft linoleum type of flooring tile, cut to shape and stapled in place. The side exposed was covered with MDF painted similar color to the walls. It looked as if it had been built in not just added.

That looks fantastic. I like your inovative use of brackets to hold the light suspended above the tank.

There's an idea for you Pam, I'm sure you can clean out a corner of the basement for a stock tank something like that.

I actually would like to do one outside against something, but deeper so the goldfish can stay there all winter. Maybe some day.

First of all, I guess you have to figure out how to tell hubby you'd like him to dig a huge deep hole in the yard.
