We all have them on our list...
:grinch: We don't know what to get them for Christmas.
:grinch:They say don't bother because they have everything they need.
:grinch:How about those bosses? Are they not the WORST to buy for, especially if they own the company and are financially comfortable?
We end up getting them something they don't really want because we feel obligated or we go with a gift card that puts a big glaring price on our lack of creativity  .
Then there's the outrageous money we spend on shipping gifts, which does nothing for the person we're sending things to.
How about giving the gift of giving this year? Canada Helps (http://www.canadahelps.org/GiftCards/CharityGiftCard.aspx) offers a wonderful program in which you purchase the card and the recipient can choose the charity of their choice to donate it to. It's sent via e-mail so it couldn't get any easier. Even children can benefit so much from this excercise, like after the gifts are opened we can say "Look at how much we have, now let's go help someone who isn't as lucky".
Has anyone ever done this or received a 'gift of giving' type of gift? Any stories to share?
