Private Messages (PMs) in this forum are sent immediately to the recipient (not to an outbox from which they will be sent later).
Once you hit the 'submit' button, the message has been received. You cannot edit it.
However, if you request a read-receipt, you will know if someone has read the message or not and entitle your follow-up message (for corrections, additions, etc.) accordingly:
i.e. Follow-up message title could be something like: Re: 'title of last message' - MORE info or Re: 'title of last message '- IGNORE
Additional note: Deleting the message in your 'Sent" Box only deletes your copy of the message.
