Skimmer Foaming

Whenever I do water changes my skimmer foams continuously for days filling the tank with tiny air bubbles before finally settling down and working normally. The water chemistry is good and I use "Prime" to treat the water when I make it. How can I get the skimmer to stop producing all this foam even when set on the lowest setting? It is a Coralife "Superskimmer".

Are you using it as a hang-on skimmer? You could try rigging a bubble catcher. I know the AquaC Remora skimmers have that available as an option. The best bet would be to use it in-sump. Not sure if that's feasible for your set-up though.
